DescriptionLocation This is an online/virtual learning program and is offered for free to NC REALTORS® Members Instructor: Stephanie Walker Ombudsmen is an informal dispute resolution vehicle that keeps lines of communication open between REALTORS, REALTORS and their clients and REALTORS and other real estate professionals. Typically performed over the phone, the Ombudsmen will assist parties to rectify situations before they spin out of control. NC REALTORS has developed a training program for the NAR-required Ombudsman Program. Many ethics complaints may be averted with enhanced communications and initial problem-solving capacity at the local level. Through this training, participants will learn ombudsman procedures that are intended to provide that capacity and, as a result, potentially reduce the number of complaints received by an association.
